1-2 lbs of ground beef
1 lb of Italian sausage
1-2 jars of Ragu Robusto Spaghetti sauce
1 small container of low fat ricotta
1/4 cup of Parmesan Cheese
2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
Brown the ground beef and sausage. Drain the fat from the meat. Add one jar of spaghetti sauce and pepperoni. In a separate bowl whisk one egg and add Parmesan and ricotta cheese to the egg. In a dish, spread some of the meat mixture on the bottom of the dish. Take uncooked pasta noodles and layer on top of meat sauce. Spread the cheese/egg mixture on top of the noodles. Sprinkle with mozzarella. Repeat the layer. The final layer I pour any leftover spaghetti sauce and add more mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 minutes more or until cheese is bubbly.
